Jerry and Melva (Hill) Sammons will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, July 4.
Jerry and Melva were married on July 4, 1953, at the Methodist parsonage in Mt. Pleasant. They have four children: Steve (Debi), Tim (Bonnie), Kristi (Dale) and Doug. They have seven grandchildren: Michael (Sheila) Sammons, Juston Sammons, Andy (Meredith) Wohlleber, Danny Wohlleber, Angie (Joel) Fansworth, Brad (Erin) Sammons and Jeffrey Wohlleber (deceased).
Their 10 great-grandchildren are: Shawna Sammons, Jordan, Michal, Alexis, Lane and Cole Wohlleber, Abby and Joel Farnsworth, Ellie and Sammie Sammons. Their great-great grandchild is Korbin Krabill.
