Jerry Lee Marshall, 75, of Farmington, died on Monday, Feb. 15, 2016, at the Van Buren County Hospital, in Keosauqua.

Jerry Lee Marshall, 75, of Farmington, died on Monday, Feb. 15, 2016, at the Van Buren County Hospital, in Keosauqua.
His body has been cremated. Friends may call after 1 p.m., on Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, at Schmitz Funeral Home, in Farmington. The family will meet with friends from 5 to 7 p.m., on Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, at Schmitz Funeral Home, in Farmington. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m., at the funeral home, with Rev. Mike Shea officiating.

Marshall was born on Aug. 4, 1940, in Keokuk, the son of Myron Lee and Erma Marie (Sollars) Marshall. First, he married Donna Fecht. They later divorced. On May 25, 1996, he married Karen Vance Forquer, in Farmington. He was a graduate of Hamilton High School.
He retired from Ferro-Sil, in Keokuk. He also worked for the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and as a custodian for Hamilton Elementary School.
He enjoyed go-kart racing at Shimek Speedway, mowing grass and watching sports.
Marshall is survived by his wife, Karen; two sons, Jeremy Marshall, of Farmington; and Greg (Teresa) Marshall, of Winter Haven, Fla.; one daughter, Sherry (John) Harvey, of Quincy, Ill.; one step-son, Adam (Kim) Forquer, of Mt. Pleasant; seven grandchildren; and one brother, Ron (Debbie Salazar) Marshall, of Ft. Madison.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Nancy Repplinger.
