Jesus fills the emptiness of the heart
A woman asked Jesus for a drink of water.
Instead, he said, ?Go get your husband.?
Then he said, ?You have five ex-husbands and a current live-in man-friend.?
Why did Jesus answer her question for thirst by exposing her failed relationships?
She was thirsty, empty for something.
She tried filling it with intimacy.
Her past relationships had not filled the emptiness of her heart, the real thirst of her soul.

Water, marriage, cohabitation ? nothing could fill the real needs of the heart.
Jesus wants to fill the empty wells of your heart.
