What do Americans place their hope in? It may be freedom, peace, security or money. Jesus said the things we hope in would condemn us.
Freedom and peace are not guarantees in a democracy. True inner freedom and inner peace comes from Christ, having a free conscience, and freedom to enjoy oneself as he designed.

Money is fleeting. It goes into the pocket and leaves almost immediately. It cannot buy eternal life.
