Johnson celebrating birthday
Doris Ringelspach Johnson will celebrate her 90th birthday Sunday.
An open house in her honor is planned from 2-4 p.m. Sunday in the lower-level of First Lutheran Church in Fairfield.
Mrs. Johnson has been a resident of Jefferson County her entire life. She has been active in church, community, agricultural and political activities.
She was named an Iowa Master Farm Homemaker in recognition of her contributions.

Mrs. Johnson was married to Donald L. Johnson. Their children are Dian Schleier, the late Doug Johnson and Dee Sandquist. She also has six grandchildren.
