Jonah Van Roekel
Jonah Van Roekel is a senior at Mid-Prairie High School and a member of the Kalona Klassics 4-H Club. He is the son of Marty and Marianne Van Roekel and he has three siblings, Maggie, Hannah, and Eli.
He has worked in the 4-H project areas of Meat Goats, Poultry, Sheep, Communications, and Visual Art. He was on the ELITE Project Team and he has been club president.

Jonah Van Roekel is a senior at Mid-Prairie High School and a member of the Kalona Klassics 4-H Club. He is the son of Marty and Marianne Van Roekel and he has three siblings, Maggie, Hannah, and Eli.
He has worked in the 4-H project areas of Meat Goats, Poultry, Sheep, Communications, and Visual Art. He was on the ELITE Project Team and he has been club president.
"My first year of showing goats late at night," he said is one of his special 4-H memories.
Van Roekel has also participated in Track, Cross-Country, NHS, Speech, Drama, Madrigal Choir, Jazz Band, Concert Band, Marching Band, Hoover Uncommon Student Project, 4-H Sheep Project Mentor, and Silver Cord.
He plans to attend Oklahoma State University and major in zoology.
