The Josh Gilbert Band will present a live outdoor concert at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 28, at the Brighton City Park during the regular Brighton Celebrate Recovery meeting time.
The public is welcome. No childcare will be provided, but children are welcome with parents. A free-will offering will be collected for the band.
Packing a Southern Rock/Pop, Blues & Americana sound and positive, family-friendly message, some describe Josh Gilbert Band as an upbeat tempo with a splash of John Mayer Trio and a kick of Stevie Ray Vaughan. Hailing originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, Josh has toured across the U.S. and Canada for over 12 years, with over 1,000 performances to date.
Josh has a heart for people of all walks of life and generations; sharing his authentic testimony - full of trials, failures and storms of life (even a real tornado which destroyed his band’s tour van at one point) — “…One truth remains: no matter the situation, we can trust in God — He is the only one who restores all things in the midst of brokenness.”
This concert is sponsored by Celebrate Recovery chapters in Brighton and Washington.
Rain location will be the Brighton Community Church, 101 S. Mechanic St.
