Kalona Creamery gathering donations for storm victims

The Kalona Creamery is serving as a drop-off location for donation to families devastated by the storm in Cedar Rapids. Patrons can drop off items during hours of operation, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, or after hours in the drop-box. The Kalona Creamery is located at 2206 540th St SW, Kalona.

Items needed include:

Charcoal/Lighter Fluid

Coolers

Flashlights/Solar Powered Lights

Battery Operated Lanterns

Non-perishable Food Items (soups, jelly, pasta, pasta sauce, canned fruit, canned meat)

Laundry/Dish Soap, Cleaning Supplies

Toiletries (body wash, hand soap, shampoo/conditioner, hand sanitizer, deodorant)

Pre-made Meals/Sandwiches

Large Trash Bags

Paper Towels

Batteries

Gas Cans

Tarps
