The Fairfield Senior Citizen Center will host its monthly Senior Night Out event Thursday evening.
Instead of entertainment by the Ed Bruegge Band, this month?s event will include karaoke, plus a meal of pork chops, baked potatoes, corn, pears and a cookie bar.
Appetizers will be available for guests at 5 p.m., and the meal will be served at 5:30 p.m.
Reservations are not necessary, but would be appreciated so the center cooks know how much food to prepare for the evening. Reservations can be made by calling 472-4403. The cost is a donation from senior citizens age 60 or older and $5.87 from those younger than 60.
No regular noon meal will be served at the center or delivered to homes Thursday, but the seniors have been told and can make plans accordingly.
