Katherine (Kay) Marie Wagner, 90, of Danville died at 7:35 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at Great River Hospice House.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at 11 a.m., at the United Methodist Church, in Danville, with Rev. Kathleen Moore officiating. Interment will follow at the Jaggar Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Danville United Methodist ...

Katherine (Kay) Marie Wagner, 90, of Danville died at 7:35 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at Great River Hospice House.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at 11 a.m., at the United Methodist Church, in Danville, with Rev. Kathleen Moore officiating. Interment will follow at the Jaggar Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Danville United Methodist Church.
Memorials have been established for Danville Fire and Rescue and Great River Hospice. Honts Funeral Home, in Winfield, is in charge of the arrangements.
Wagner was born on Dec. 13, 1925, in Henry County, the daughter of Clifford and Florence Carlson. She was a graduate of Mt. Union High School, and attended Iowa Wesleyan College. On Aug. 18, 1945, she married Frank Holly Wagner, at the Methodist Church, in Mt. Union.
She was a member of Danville United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed watching the Iowa Hawkeyes and the St. Louis Cardinals.
Wagner is survived by her three children, Pam (Bob) Day, of Carlisle; Mark Wagner, of San Diego, Calif.; and Jill (George) Bowers, of Mesa, Ariz.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Mike Carlson; Jane Tompkins; and Lorna Cornick.
