The Keokuk Concert Association proudly presents Sons of Serendip, on Monday, Nov. 5, 7:30 p.m. at the Grand Theater, 26 Sixth St., Keokuk. This concert is the second of the 2018-2019 series, and is partially underwritten by the generosity of the Howard Family Trust.
Sons of Serendip is a classical ensemble consisting of musicians Kendall Ramseur (cellist), Cordaro Rodriguez (pianist), Mason Morton (harpist), and Micah Christian (lead vocalist), who through a series of serendipitous events, came together in graduate school at Boston University. They have been playing their instruments since childhood, and in 2014 began entertaining audiences with classy, inspirational and timeless music.
The quartet has been gaining popularity since appearing on season 9 of 'America's Got Talent” as finalists. In December 2016, Sons of Serendip joined a cast of America's Got Talent alumni for the first ever 'America's Got Talent Holiday Spectacular.”
Membership subscriptions, as well as single tickets for Sons of Serendip will be available at the door before the concert. Advanced single tickets may be purchased at Lost Canvas, Java River, and Hy-Vee in Keokuk.
Adults holding season memberships in the cities of Quincy, Illinois, Hannibal and Canton, Missouri, Fairfield and Washington, Iowa, also will be admitted free of charge.
