Keokuk County Historical Society open house held
In spite of the many activities that were taking place the afternoon of Sept. 14, the annual Keokuk County open house had a nice group of people tour the building.
Great interest by the men took place in the Military Room downstairs, while the women enjoyed looking at the 30 quilts on display in the church sanctuary.

Great interest by the men took place in the Military Room downstairs, while the women enjoyed looking at the 30 quilts on display in the church sanctuary.
Margaret Hollingsworth of Sigourney was the winner of the raffle quilt. Carolyn Kerkove of Sigourney won the year's membershio. She missed the correct number of marbles in the jug by three.
The Historical Society building is open on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
