KEOSAUQUA ? The Keosauqua Lions Club will have its annual soup supper and auction Feb. 10 at the Roberts Memorial Building in Keosauqua.

Serving begins at 5 p.m., with the auction to follow.

Proceeds go to community projects.

JEFFERSON COUNTY FARM BUREAU WOMEN

Jefferson County Farm Bureau Women will meet at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Kokomo?s Kafé.

Sandy Nelson will be hostess and is in charge of the program. The program, presented by Larry Unkrich, will be about the ethanol plant in Burlington.

The roll call response will be buildings, landmarks, land and transportation of Canada.

Members may being Valentines for an exchange.

All interested women are invited.

Members of P.E.O., Chapter MB will meet at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at The Oaks at Parkview Care Center.

RETIRED SCHOOL PERSONNEL

The Jefferson County Retired School Personnel had its first meeting of the new year, a noon luncheon, Jan. 25.

Marvin Septer introduced the speaker for the program: Stacey Munson, Jefferson County Health Center dietitian. Her presentation was ?New Year  New You.? She stressed better nutrition and health for the new year.

The meeting was presided by co-chairwoman Lois Kremer. The secretary report was given by Jeanne Erickson, and the treasurers report was given by  Dwain Dooley,

The next meeting will be a Valentine luncheon Feb. 22. Hostesses will be Becky Peters, Marilyn Fenton and Isabelle Johnson. The program will be announced at a later date.
