Keota school board to meet

The Keota School Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, at the Keota Elementary School's library.

Items on the agenda include: annual meeting retiring old school board, organization of the new school board - oath of office for new board member, election of president and vice-president, oath of office to the president and vice-president, Keokuk County Conference Board, Washington County Conference Board, IASB assembly delegate, district bargaining school board representatives, Keota Education Foundation representative, Great Prairie AEA Board of Directors, school board policy 504.6 - student activity program, preliminary student enrollment, high school class size numbers, Sept. 23 community meeting, special education service delivery plan, administrator reports, board member responsibilities and closed session per Iowa Code Chapter 21.5(j) - to discuss purchase of particular real estate.
