Clockwise from lower left, Jonah Cooper, Ethan Waugh Missy Cooper, Marilyn McGuire, Taylor Clemons, Nickel Iseman and Larry Hedger were among the 175 volunteers of all ages from four Fairfield churches measuring, filling bags, weighing, sealing bags, packing boxes, sealing boxes and stacking boxes along the wall Sunday. Word of Life Lutheran, Fairfield Friends, First Presbyterian and First Christian (Disciples of Christ) churches working together filled 116 cases with enough meals to feed 25,000 people. Each bag, with white rice, six dehydrated vegetables, vitamin fortified soy protein and chicken flavored vegetarian vitamin and mineral powder, contains six meals.
