Kids' Day at the Washington County Fair ? 4-H Olympics!

Come and enjoy Kids? Day at the 2014 Washington County Fair! This fun event is hosted by the Washington County Extension Office and Washington?s 4-H County Council and sponsored by Peoples Savings Bank of Crawfordsville and Wayland, Farm Bureau Financial Services/Ann Williams, Moore?s BP. Kids? Day is Wednesday, July 16, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Washington County Fairgrounds.

There will be a variety of hands-on activities for children ages kindergarten through third grade. All kids are welcome to come, learn and have fun! Participants may come and go to activity stations anytime throughout the morning until 11 a.m.

Activities include:

· Flag Snack: Design your own Olympic flag cookie and eat it too.

· Horsin? Around: The Horse and Pony Club will host rodeo and Western activities at the Horse Barn. Free pony rides will run from 9:30 to 11 a.m.

· Obstacles Galore: Earn your gold medal by moving through the 4-H Olympic obstacle course.

· Team Relay: Use your speed to help your team in the relay race.

· Passing the torch: Create your own Olympic torch.

· Gold Medals: Design your own 4-H gold medal.

· Olympic Gear: Do not forget to pick up the rest of your 4-H Olympic goodies! Take-home bags will be provided to the first 200 youth.

· Little Hands on the Farm: Visit the round barn for hands-on agriculture learning.

The Clover Kid Pet Show will begin at 11 a.m. at the small show ring. All are welcome to see their favorite pets on parade.
