The ?4-H Superhero Training? themed Kids? Day was held on Wednesday, July 19, at the Washington County Fair. Over 200 youth enjoyed this event coordinated and sponsored by Washington County Hospitals and Clinics with Washington County Extension Office. Peoples Savings Bank of Crawfordsville and Wayland supplied superhero goodie bags for all participants and Ann C Williams Agency-Farm Bureau sponsored pony rides.
Kids had the opportunity to make their superhero wrist bands and masks. The hospital provided capes before travelling the fairgrounds for pony rides, superhero training camp, snacks provided by Washington Lions and ag learning at Little Hands on the Farm.
Thank you to everyone who helped make Kids? Day a success. For more information about 4-H, contact the Washington County Extension Office, 319/653-4811, or check the web at www.extension.iastate.edu/washington.
