Kids? Day pedal pull results listed

The Fairfield Kiwanis Club has announced the results of the Kiddie Pedal Pull held Saturday in Central Park as part of the Fairfield Kiwanis Kids? Day.

In the event, children pedal a small tractor as they pull a sled modeled after the tractor pull sleds seen at county and state fairs in the Midwest.

This year a record of 105 children from a wide area of eastern Iowa participated. The top two winners of each age class 4 and up are eligible to enter the next level of competition, and although not eligible for state competition, 14 3-year-olds demonstrated their pedal power.
