Kindergarten Round-Up planned for Washington

Washington Community School District Kindergarten Roundup is planned for March 27 and March 28 at the Stewart Elementary School kindergarten classrooms in Washington. The roundup is for any child turning 5 years old on or before Sept. 15, 2014. Also, parents who have not attended roundup in the last three years are highly encouraged to attend a parent meeting during the roundup session.

Parents must sign their child up for one of the four sessions offered. Session 1 is Thursday, March 27, from 8:30 to 10:15 a.m. Session 2 is Thursday, March 27, from 12:30 to 2:15 p.m. Session 3 is Thursday, March 27, from 4:30 to 6:15 p.m. Session 4 is Friday, March 28, from 8:30 to 10:15 a.m.

Call-in registration will be from Jan. 21 to March 21. Parents are asked to call Stewart School at 319-653-3244 as soon as possible, to select a session. An information packet will be mailed to the parents prior to roundup.
