Kleese reunion held in Washington

The 90th Kleese Reunion was held July 18 at the Farm Bureau Meeting Room in Washington.
President Karla Maxwell welcomed the group and led a silent prayer blessing before the cooperative meal. A Kleese historian reported three marriages, three births, and a correction for a date on the death.
A California Bauer was the youngest member present. Patricia Dusenbery was the oldest. C.J. Griffith traveled the least and the California Bauer’s traveled the farthest. Wilma Wright and Patricia Dusenbery have attended the most reunions.
Correspondence from Kramer, Frohardt, and Zimmerman families was shared. Family memorabilia was displayed for members to enjoy. Walter Monroe Kleese and Elizabeth Stevenson family record was shared.
Karla Maxwell was elected President; Rita Phipps vice president, Ruth Maddalozzo Secretary and Patricia Dusenbery remains family historian. The 2022 reunion will be held the third Sunday at the West Chester Heritage Building in West Chester, IA. Family members enjoyed visiting.
