Krumboltz celebrate 45th wedding anniversary

Tom and Karen Krumboltz of Fairfield celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary Sunday.

Tom Krumboltz and Karen Pampel were married July 1, 1967, at the Methodist church in Williams, with the Rev. Runion officiating.

Mr. Krumboltz recently retired from farming and from the 34th Army Band of the Iowa Army National Guard after 43 years of service.

Mrs. Krumboltz retired in 2010 from a 37-year career, of which 32 years were dedicated to serving the children in the Fairfield Community School District as a Title I reading teacher.

The Krumboltz are the parents of: Brent Krumboltz and wife Mindy of Beardstown, Ill.; Sean Krumboltz of Fairfield; Krista Krumboltz and husband Mark Wyman of Gardnerville, Nev. The couple also has eight grandchildren.
