How will your high school experiences help you in coming years? High school has helped me to grow as a person and has helped me to become more outgoing and confident.
Fondest memory of high school? My fondest memory would have to be how the community helped me to go to New York this year. I can't express how touched I was at all the donations and encouragement from the people in my community that helped me to achieve a life-long dream.
Which teachers have had the biggest impact on you and why? Mr. Aryit is one of the best teachers I have had. He has always encouraged me to push my limits and be creative. Mr. Siron is also a big influence. He has always supported me and my love for singing. Lastly, Mr. Hughes has been an amazing teacher to me, and has also been a big supporter of my musical interest.
Who is your role model and how did they influence you? My mom is my role model. She has always been there for me and has never missed a single game, concert, play, or ceremony. She is my biggest fan and has always supported my decisions.
What’s special about your school? Its students are very different from each other.
If you go back to when you were a freshman, what advice would you give yourself? Don’t stress over grades, you’ll be fine.
