La Onda group works in park
The WHS La Onda Multicultural Group spent time cleaning and spreading mulch at Sunset Park in the afternoon on Wednesday, May 13.
La Onda Multicultural Group is open to all high school students and has four core values: to unite all cultures, to be recognized as a group that helps the community, to strengthen communication between different groups, and to have fun as a school group.

The WHS La Onda Multicultural Group spent time cleaning and spreading mulch at Sunset Park in the afternoon on Wednesday, May 13.
La Onda Multicultural Group is open to all high school students and has four core values: to unite all cultures, to be recognized as a group that helps the community, to strengthen communication between different groups, and to have fun as a school group.
Wednesday's parks cleanup activity was one of La Onda's community service projects this year.
In the photo, La Onda members enjoy the fruits of their labor as well as the time spent together beautifying Sunset Park. Special thanks to Tim Widmer for assisting the group with this project. La Onda's end-of-year celebration was a trip to Adventureland Saturday, May 16.
