Service set at labyrinth
An Easter Vigil service, with Communion, integrated with walking the labyrinth, is set for 7:30 p.m. Saturday outside First United Methodist Church.
The service will be led by the Rev. Mark Haverland and the Rev. Nate Nimes of First United Methodist Church, in cooperation with the Rev. Joseph Phipps of First Presbyterian Church and the Rev. Dian Ong of St. Michael?s Episcopal Church.

Service set at labyrinth
An Easter Vigil service, with Communion, integrated with walking the labyrinth, is set for 7:30 p.m. Saturday outside First United Methodist Church.

Living Hope plans drama
ELDON ? Living Hope Bible Church in Eldon will host a presentation of ?Easter without Dad? at 6 p.m. Saturday.
The presentation is a story of a young man who lost his father in a car accident. When Easter arrives, he is beside himself with emptiness, especially since he and his friends are doing a play and his dad was supposed to come and see it.
Tenderloin meal set April 5
First United Methodist Church will host a tenderloin meal from 5-6:30 p.m. April 5 at the church.
The meal will include tenderloin, baked beans, potato salad, dessert and beverage.
Free will offerings are accepted.
The public is invited.
Spring Rally set April 13
WAPELLO ? The Mount Pleasant Zone of the Lutheran Women?s Missionary League will hold its annual Spring Rally April 13 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wapello.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., and the meeting adjourns after lunch is served.
The theme of the rally is ?Oh taste and see that the Lord is good,? Psalm 34:8. The speaker will be the Rev. Randolph McHone, senior pastor of Grace Lutheran Church in Waterloo, who will present a program on Operation Barnabas, a Lutheran Church Missouri Synod mission to military personnel and their families.
The LWML is a recognized auxiliary of the LCMS and the Mount Pleasant Zone consists of women from LCMS churches in Burlington, Fort Madison, Keokuk, Mount Pleasant, Muscatine, Wapello and Wilton.
Guests are welcome to attend.
