Lauren L. Chalupa, 91, of Washington, died on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015, at the Washington County Hospital.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, Dec. 28, 2015, at 2 p.m., at the First Christian Church, in Washington, with Rev. Colton Clay officiating. Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery, in Washingotn. Visitation will be held Sunday, Dec. 27, from 3 to 5 p.m., at the First Christian Church.

Lauren L. Chalupa, 91, of Washington, died on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015, at the Washington County Hospital.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, Dec. 28, 2015, at 2 p.m., at the First Christian Church, in Washington, with Rev. Colton Clay officiating. A memorial fund has been established for the First Christian Church.
Chalupa was born on Aug. 8, 1924, in Richmond, the son of Fred and Olive (Wallace) Chalupa. He graduated from Washington High School. On June 3, 1950, he was united in marriage to Leta Koch, in Brighton.
He worked as an office manager and parts manager for McCormick Ford and Mincer Ford.
He was a member of the First Christian Church.
He enjoyed restoring cars and spending time with his family.
Chalupa is survived by his wife, Leta, of Washington, two sons, Michael (Janet) Chalupa, of Bremerton, Wash.; Stephen (Judi) Chalupa, of Washington; four grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and four siblings, Ferd Chalupa; Jeanette Banks; Norma Loeffler; and Wayne (Joanne) Chalupa.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Junior and Bob Chalupa; and one sister, Jane Hensel.
