The public is invited to attend a free program on monarch Butterflies by Mary Bulger, Naturalist for Lee County Conservation Board. The program will be at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, August 25, at the Washington County Extension Office. Bulger may have live monarch caterpillars on hand and possibly adult butterflies to tag as well as live milkweed plants which serve as Monarch host plants.
