Members of the public are invited to join Kelly McKay from 'Building Better Birders” as he shares about waterfowl and upland game birds through a PowerPoint-style program at 6 p.m. at the Main Lodge in Lacey-Keosauqua State Park south of Keosauqua. Participants are asked to wear a mask while indoors. Pre-registration is required for this event.
Funding for this program is provided by the Resource Enhancement and Protection – Conservation Education Program (REAP – CEP). McKay, or the BioEco Research and Monitoring Center, will be assisted in the presentation by Mark Roberts (Clinton County Conservation) and Brian Ritter (Nahant Marsh Education Center).
This is an official Des Moines River Water Trails event cosponsored by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and Jefferson County Conservation. The Des Moines River Water Trail is one of 19 official water trails in Iowa.
