Join your friends and neighbors for a free program on how to eat healthy at the Wellman-Scofield Library. The program will be held Saturday, Oct. 17, from 10 ? 11 a.m.
Rachel Wall, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Human Sciences Specialist, Nutrition and Wellness, will identify three strategies to stretch your food dollar while improving nutrient density. Participants will be introduced to the SpendSmart EatSmart website that features recipes, tips on how to save time and money when eating out or at home, and meal planning.
There is no cost to attend this free program and pre-registration is not required. This class is provided in partnership with Washington County Extension and the Wellman-Scofield Public Library.
