Learn something new at ‘How-To-Tuesdays’ July 23

Fairfield Public Library will offer its second installment of 'How-To-Tuesdays” from 5:30-8 p.m. July 23.
How-To-Tuesdays is a free educational series for adults. No registration is required.
As they enter the library, participants will receive a passport listing all nine learning stations for the event, and are welcome to visit the stations in any order. Participants can visit a station, look-listen-learn, get their passport stamped, and move to another station. The completed passport can be delivered to the front desk to be entered into a drawing for a prize.
This month, local residents will share their know-how on:
' How to Fly a Drone, with Rene Holmberg.
' How to Attract Birds, with Diane Porter of Birdwatching.com.
' How to Make a Rope, with Leon Connelly of Maasdam Barns.
' How to Do Basic Woodcarving, with John Schirmer of John Schirmer Woodcuts.
' How to Make Artisanal Bread, with Eric Rusch of Breadtopia.
' How to Square Dance, with Fairfield Square Dance Inc.
' How to Make Your Garage Multipurpose, with Susan Shafer.
' How to Fix a Flat Bicycle Tire, with Mark Smith of AJ's Bicycle Shop.
' How to Find Your Next Great Read, with the Fairfield Public Library staff.
How-To events can open a participant's eyes to a new world of interests and is a chance to soak up the library's D.I.Y. resources, and learn something new.
