Let’s Glow Crazy Hike planned for Kewash Trail Oct. 15

Keota is having a night hike fundraiser on the glow trail at the Kewash Trailhead in Keota on Saturday, Oct 15.

The “Let’s Glow Crazy Hike” will begin at 7 p.m. that day, when participants will hike on the paved glowing surface starting at the Kewash Trailhead in Keota.

To support this trail fundraiser, register and get your rechargeable Kewash Trail glow bracelet. Walk a little or hike a mile out and a mile back. The trail will feature lights, glow and music as you walk by the golf course and through the wooded area to the glow dancers at the mile road.

Head back to see the glow surface by the trailhead in full dark. Stick around for a chili supper with a free will donation. Proceeds from the registration and meal will go towards the trailhead improvements and paving project.
