Libby is a little library on your phone
AT THE LIBRARY

I have found it hard to find the time to read a book this fall. I have been so busy with classes and after school activities that I just don’t have the time to read right now. That is why I enjoy Libby.
Using Libby, I can listen to audiobooks on the way to work, or school, or wherever I am going. It is a great way to listen to books when I am cleaning or doing other chores. Libby has a great selection of books, even some that are not available as physical copies in the Library.
It doesn’t just offer audiobooks, but also e-books you can read on your phone. Most books are available as an e-book and an audiobook. There are magazines available on Libby as well. You can’t go wrong with so many options on how to read!
I personally think the coolest thing about Libby is that it is just like a little Library on your phone. There are only so many copies of each book, so you can put them on hold, just like putting something on reserve here in the Library.
If you do need to put something on reserve, it will tell you what place you are in line, and the estimated wait time until it is your turn to have a copy. I think this is a cool way to see how popular a book is and how many people use Libby!
Another good thing about Libby is how you can easily schedule your books to be available to you later, if you don’t have time to read them right away. This really helps if you have a book on hold, but when it is available you don’t have the time to read it.
I have done this before if I knew I wanted to listen to an audiobook when I go on a long car ride, but don’t want to have to return it before I even get the chance to read it. So if you are crazy busy like I am, or just want something to relax with this fall, check out Libby and see if you can find a good book!
