The Revs. Arley and Peg Ellingson of Libertyville are leading a Volunteer In Mission team to southwest Iowa and invite interested people to work with them in Shenandoah July 8-13.
Cost is $100, which includes meals and lodging while at Camp Shenandoah. Payment is due June 25. All travel and personal purchases are at the participant?s expense.
Living accommodations are at Shenandoah Wesley Center in dormitory rooms ? one for men, one for women ? with bunk beds and air mattresses. Showers are adjacent to the sleeping rooms and restrooms are located on each level. A combination kitchen/dining/fellowship room is on the lowest level of the facility.
Each team member will participate in an area of ministry clean up at camp.
Closed-toe shoes, knee-length shorts or jeans, long-sleeve shirts if working with insulation, modest tops, sun protection and bug repellant are needed at worksites.
