The Washington Public Library staff are encouraging teens to read and discuss the 2014 All Iowa Reads selection "Little Wolves" by Thomas Mortman with them. The library will hold a special book club for just ninth- through 12th-graders on Thursdays in September at 4 p.m. Books will be provided. If your teens like "creepy," this book is for them! Staff also anticipate that it will bring about a lot of discussion about teen relationships with police and with teachers in small towns. Teens can sign up at the library or call 653-2726.
Also, if adults want to read the book for themselves and join the communitywide discussion on Sunday, Sept. 28, at 4 p.m., the library will have copies available for all patrons to check out on Sept. 2.
