Library opens late Thursday
Fairfield Public Library will open at noon Thursday.
Library director Rebecca Johnson explained city employees, including those at the library, will attend a Safety-Wellness Fair event Thursday morning. Wellmark?s Blue Zones representative will provide information about workplace wellness initiatives, and the Iowa Municipal Workers Compensation Association will provide a safety training.

Fairfield Public Library will open at noon Thursday.
Library director Rebecca Johnson explained city employees, including those at the library, will attend a Safety-Wellness Fair event Thursday morning. Wellmark?s Blue Zones representative will provide information about workplace wellness initiatives, and the Iowa Municipal Workers Compensation Association will provide a safety training.
The library will resume normal business hours at noon. The library is open from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Wednesday; 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thusday and Friday; and 1-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
