Library to host Family Fort Day

Want to build a blanket fort? The Washington Public Library will be holding a Family Fort Day on Saturday, April 20.
The Family Fort Day will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., on Saturday, April 20. The event is free and open to all.
Families should bring their own fort-building supplies like light sheets, pillows and blankets. Families should also feel free to wear their pajamas as they enjoy a snack and time to read as a family in their fort.
During the party, families can pick out a book to be placed in the library. Inside the cover of the book will be a bookplate with the family name on it. The books were purchased by the Washington Rotary Club, which is sponsoring the event.
