Library to host 'Vang'
Vang, a dramatic performance about recent immigrant farmers, will be performed at the Washington Public Library this Saturday, June 28 at 7 p.m. Vang, meaning garden or farm in Hmong, was written by Iowa Poet Laureate Mary Swander, and is brought to life by Pulitzer Prize winning photographer Dennis Chamberlin, and Kennedy Center ACT award-winning actor Matt Foss. The performance is free and open to the public.
