Winter reading programs have started at the Washington Public Library.
Wee Read is open to children from 18 months to 3 1/2-year-olds with an adult on Tuesday mornings at 10:30. New families are always welcome to join the program.
The library also has an independent family reading program available for families of all ages and numbers. For every 30 minutes a family reads together, they can earn a portion of a snowman to add to their snowman that they will build in the library. The program is ongoing and continues through Feb. 12, and ending with a family party.
Come in from the cold, and let your library help you Read the Winter Away!
