Library’s book sale opens with early-bird event Friday

The Fairfield Public Library will have a fundraising book sale Friday through June 14 to help support its programs and events.
The event will kickoff with an early-bird preview sale from 6-8 p.m. Friday. A $5 admission payable at the door gives early-bird shoppers first pick of adult fiction and non-fiction books, children's books, vintage books, audio books, DVDs and music CDs.
The sale, with free admission, will continue during normal library hours Saturday through June 14.
A fresh inventory will be set out June 8.
