The Limelights 4-H Club met on Friday, March 20, for their special club retreat held overnight at Crooked Creek Camp. Seventeen members joined in the fun of making supper together, competing in minute-to-win-it games, making pretzels for warm snacks during movies and completing several community service projects.
Members filled over 2,000 Easter eggs for the West Chester Easter Egg Hunt, made flannel baby blankets and tied a fleece blanket to donate for a community service project.
The club was thankful to have several great adult volunteers chaperone and relied on the senior high leadership team to plan activities. The Limelights 4-H Club is led by volunteers Marianne Van Roekel and Becky Palmer. For more information on how to get involved with 4-H as a member or volunteer, contact the Washington County Extension Office at 319-653-4811.
