Lincoln students perform with honor choir
Six Lincoln Elementary students were selected to perform at the Southeast Iowa Choral Directors Association honor choir on Friday, Jan. 30. Six Lincoln Elementary students were selected to perform at the Southeast Iowa Choral Directors Association honor choir on Friday, Jan. 30. The honor choir was held at Iowa Wesleyan College in Mount Pleasant where students prepared music to be presented to an audience that evening. The fifth- and sixth-grade choir was under the direction of Tanya Rosenkranz, a music educator from Indian Creek Elementary in Marion.
Students who attended from left are Zoe Kane, Lindsey Lillie, Peyton Snakenberg, Ethan Zieglowsky, Emma Stalder and Analiese Clark. These students are all members of Lincoln Sunrise Singers under the direction of Julie Hill.
