Linkin to celebrate 80th birthday

Carol Linkin will celebrate her 80th birthday with an open house and card shower hosted by her family on Sunday, Sept. 14 at New London Community Center, 103 W. Washington St. from 2-5 p.m.
Carol was born Sept. 16, 1945 in Burlington to Lewey and Lois (Hartman) Blow. She graduated from Danville in 1963 and was married in 1965 to Rodney Linkin of New London. They were married for 58 years and had three children, Brigette, Travis and Trent, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
