Lippincott, Rustad announce engagement

Amber Ellen Lippincott, daughter of Denny and Sandee Lippincott of Fairfield, and Lt. Col. Robert Tyler Rustad, son of Merton and Sharyn Rustad of Powell, Wyo., announce their engagement and forthcoming wedding.

The bride-elect is a 1995 graduate of Fort Madison High School in Fort Madison and earned a bachelor?s degree in leisure services from University of Northern Iowa in 2000. She attended graduate school at UNI for youth and human services administration. From 2003-2010, Lippincott was youth director at the Salina Family YMCA in Salina, Kan. She currently is a volunteer for Fort Meade Army Community Services and Fort Meade MWR.

The groom-elect is a 1990 graduate of Powell High School in Powell, Wyo., and in 1994 earned a bachelor?s degree in Russian language and international studies from Norwich University in Norwich, Vt. Rustad was commissioned as a military intelligence officer in 1994 from Norwich University. He also is a 2002 graduate of Chapman University in Orange, Calif., with a master?s degree in organizational leadership, and a 2006 graduate of Command General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kan. Rustad is currently stationed at Fort Meade, Md., with the U.S. Army.

A wedding has been set Aug. 6 at Big Sky Chapel in Big Sky, Mont. A reception will follow at 320 Guest Ranch in Big Sky.

The couple will reside in Linthicum Heights, Md.
