Local students graduate from Northwestern College

Northwestern College in Orange City held commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 14.

Local students Caitlyn Lopez and Jacayla Litwiller were among 148 graduate students who were awarded a Master of Education degree from Northwestern College during commencement ceremonies Saturday, May 14.

Lopez, of Mount Pleasant, graduated with a master’s degree in master teacher. Litwiller, of Washington, graduated with a master’s degree in special education.

Northwestern College is a Christian college of more than 1,500 students in Orange City, Iowa. Rated a top-10 Midwestern college by U.S. News & World Report magazine, Northwestern provides an education committed to standout academics and a Christ-centered worldview.
