Local students honored for academic excellence

Ashley Bloomquist of Fairfield was named to the Wartburg College Winter/May term dean's list.

The college recognized 494 students for its Winter/May term.

The list honors students who earned a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or above in at least five course credits during the terms. Wartburg students take four courses during Winter Term, which runs from January through April, and one course during the one-month May Term.

Mt. Pleasant’s Davis named to president's list

Isaac Davis of Mt. Pleasant was named to the Spring 2021 president's list at Mississippi College.

Mississippi College, affiliated with the Mississippi Baptist Convention, is a private, co-educational, Christian university of liberal arts and sciences, was founded in 1826.
