Lockridge Lions Club offering free eye screening for children
LOCKRIDGE ? A free eyesight screening for children will be offered by the Lockridge Lions Club and the University of Iowa Health Care at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sue Hopper?s paint studio in Lockridge.
The screening is for children ages 6 months to 48 months.
It only takes a few minutes for the screening to be completed. A camera takes a picture of the child?s eyes. The screening can detect eye problems that can ...

LOCKRIDGE ? A free eyesight screening for children will be offered by the Lockridge Lions Club and the University of Iowa Health Care at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sue Hopper?s paint studio in Lockridge.
The screening is for children ages 6 months to 48 months.
It only takes a few minutes for the screening to be completed. A camera takes a picture of the child?s eyes. The screening can detect eye problems that can cause reduced vision. It is 85 percent to 90 percent effective.
For consent forms, call Wayne Diers at 319-696-2171 or Larry Messer at 319-696-3600. Consent forms also can be completed Wednesday at the screening site.
