Lockridge Veterans Association hosting Veterans Day ceremony
The Lockridge Veterans Association is hosting a Veterans Day celebration on Saturday, Nov. 11.
The Honor Guard will be meeting at the Community Center and heading to the cemetery at 7:45 a.m. for a flag-raising ceremony. During the ceremony, members of the Calvary Baptist Men's Group will be singing the national anthem and the rifle team will fire a volley of rounds followed by ?Taps.?

The Lockridge Veterans Association is hosting a Veterans Day celebration on Saturday, Nov. 11.
The Honor Guard will be meeting at the Community Center and heading to the cemetery at 7:45 a.m. for a flag-raising ceremony. During the ceremony, members of the Calvary Baptist Men?s Group will be singing the national anthem and the rifle team will fire a volley of rounds followed by ?Taps.?
The group will return to the Community Center at 8:10 a.m. for fellowship, coffee, tea and pastries. The Veterans Day program will begin at 8:45 a.m. The program will give updates to the local veterans memorial. The program is titled ?America at War: The Veteran, A Lasting Tribute.?
