Lomont Molding LLC welcomes new operations manager

Lomont Molding LLC is pleased to welcome Doug Bass as its new Operations Manager. Doug is responsible for all aspects of manufacturing operations. Additionally, he will be directing the continuous improvement and optimization processes at Lomont?s Mt. Pleasant facility.

Bass describes himself as well traveled. He served 14 years in the United States Air Force. He has lived in six different states and brings with him many years of production and warehouse experience. Originally from South Dakota, he has moved to Mt. Pleasant where his wife was born and raised.

Outside of work, his primary hobby is his membership and participation in a motorcycle ministry, whose members dedicate themselves to helping others. He is a father of four and excited that he will become a grandfather in December.

When asked ? Bass said the most interesting thing he has learned in his first few days is how wide a variety of products they manufacture there at Lomont.
