Loop trail mileage markers finished
Trail users have been clamoring for mileage indicators for years, and now individuals can sponsor markers on the Fairfield Loop Trail with their names integrated into the markers.

Trail users have been clamoring for mileage indicators for years, and now individuals can sponsor markers on the Fairfield Loop Trail with their names integrated into the markers.
Offered in one-fourth, one-half and one-mile stretches, the markers have been designed by the Aalto team at Creative Edge and are made from virtually indestructible Cor-Ten steel. They feature Iowa?s state bird, the state flower or the state tree at the top of the sign.
Fabrication of mile markers will be donated by several local companies. Details about cost and availability can be found at www.jeffersoncountytrails.org.
