Elmer and Florence Louth of Fairfield will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary during an open house reception from 2-4 p.m. March 17 at Sunnybrook Assisted Living.
Elmer Louth and Florence Anderson were married March 20, 1942, in Kahoka, Mo. They are the parents of four children: Linda Gerdes and husband Bill of Dubuque, Ruth Louth of Mount Pleasant, Terri Grover and husband Greg of Cedar Falls and Wilson Louth and wife Laurie of Dickson, Tenn. The Louths also have eight grandchildren, one stepgrandchild, five great-grandchildren and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
