Youth serving lunch Sunday
The youth of First United Methodist Church in Fairfield will serve a lunch at noon Sunday at the church.
The proceeds will be used for the summer mission trip.

Youth serving lunch Sunday
The youth of First United Methodist Church in Fairfield will serve a lunch at noon Sunday at the church.
The proceeds will be used for the summer mission trip.
Prairie View meetings set Wednesday
OLLIE ? Prairie View United Methodist Church near the junction of Packwood Road and Highway 78, will have church committee meetings at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The meetings will be followed by a church council and finance meeting at 7:30 p.m.
Soup supper benefits Kids Against Hunger
First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) will host a soup supper from 5-6:30 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Soups, Kenny?s Cornbread and pies will be served.
The freewill offering collected for the supper will benefit Kids Against Hunger.
The public is invited.
Knights of Columbus hosting fish fry dinners
A Knights of Columbus fish fry is planned from 5:30-7 p.m. March 1 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Fairfield.
The whole catfish dinner costs $9.50. An extra catfish is $5.
A grilled cheese dinner is $6.
In addition to the main entree, the dinner includes a baked potato, a side dish, dessert and a drink.
Proceeds will be used for high school senior scholarships.
The dinners also are planned for 5:30-7 p.m. today at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in East Pleasant Plain and March 15 at St. Mary Catholic Church.
UMM breakfast planned March 3
The United Methodist Men of First United Methodist Church in Fairfield will have a breakfast at 7 a.m. March 3.
